Family Ties Adult Center
Family Ties Participants Smiling for the Camera

"A compassionate touch and a helping hand to keep your family ties strong to the end."

Family Ties Adult Center is open to all individuals who are diagnosed as having Alzheimer's Disease or suffering from other debilitating disease. There is a center located in Iron Mountain in Dickinson County, and Iron River in Iron County. Along with providing respite for the care giver, the Center provides a setting which promotes socialization for the participant through a variety of activities.

Family Ties provides an option to families other than placement of the participant in a long term care facility. This option allows the participant the opportunity to remain in their own home, living in familiar surroundings, while at the same time supporting the family's needs. The care giver has time to take care of the daily necessities of living while getting some much needed respite from the care of their family member.

Services include:
•Stimulating Activities

•Transportation Available - provided by Senior Center
•Hot Noon Meal - provided by Senior Center
