The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program was funded in January of 2001 to serve the Dickinson and Iron County area. This program is part of the National Senior Service Corps of the Corporation for National Service. The mission of RSVP is to engage adults aged 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs, and to provide high quality experience to enrich volunteers' lives.

RSVP matches volunteers to a variety of public and non-profit agencies according to their skills, interests, and available time. RSVP is a very flexible program and is adaptable to suit each unique volunteer and volunteer station.

RSVP Volunteers:

RSVP Volunteers choose when and where they want to volunteer. Many continue the type of work they have already enjoyed in life, while others try something completely different. RSVP volunteers may choose to volunteer in one or more locations. There are numerous RSVP Volunteer Stations throughout Dickinson and Iron Counties for volunteers to choose from. Just let us know what type of volunteering you enjoy!
